Beloved Students:

Once again I write to you as Spring snow falls on the Colorado western slope. Having spent so many of my own lifetimes in regions of high altitudes I have a special appreciation for Spring snow, which I invite you to enjoy with me. How magnificent the wealth of the Earth experience! How incredible to share it with those you love!

Are you recognizing the wealth of your own life by now? Are you deepening into the realization that it is completely within your power to replace those old patterns of impoverishment with patterns of empowerment? Are you finally recognizing that the world you behold is but a reflection of your own mind? If so, great! If not, keep on searching. The true nature of all that is – even your own true nature – patiently awaits your recognition of its luminous manifestation.

In truth, recognizing the magic at work in your life is very freeing when it comes to patterns of suffering that hold you in historical grip. For example, those who awaken each morning fearing what the day will bring tend to experience many more frightening events in the course of the day than do others. Indeed, those who awaken with excitement to discover what miracles will arise in the course of their day do, in fact, see and experience more miracles than many of their peers. This discrepancy in seeing does, of course, beg the question of who sees life correctly?

How is it that some have lives filled with depressing and frightening events while others see a world full of magic and wonder? How is it that two people can have the same boss, and one see the boss as terrific while the other sees the boss as tyrannical? (Those same projections even find their way into relationships some have with their spiritual teacher, as well!)

By this point, you probably realize that the “correct answer” to these questions is directly attributable to the perceptions and beliefs of the one seeing the situation. However, knowing the “correct answer” and creating freedom from negative patterns of thought and perception may prove to be two different matters. Perhaps the more important consideration is how to transcend those negative, self-defeating habits of mind, breaking through to experience all the magic, which although unnoticed is operating at virtually every moment.

By “magic,” I am referring to the causative energetic force that brings about events that seem to be inexplicable unimaginable, even miraculous. Of course, such terminology can be off-putting to some, and there are those who would disempower those special moments attempting to explain away the wonder of those incredible moments. Usually this tendency arises as a result of fearing that one has been duped, or a self-conscious moment of feeling foolish. In either case, the desire to protect the ego is stronger in the moment than the desire to be open to this magic force. Yet it must be said that the tendency to burrow into the left-brain functions of analysis and/or explanation actually removes one from directly experiencing the very magic they seek to explain, analyze or disprove.

In considering these mental gyrations, it becomes obvious that such repeating habits of mind actually rob one of both an open heart and an open mind. With literally lifetimes of repeating such habits, it really is no wonder so many people are caught in the negative perspectives so abundant in this time. Even sadder, this type of projecting mind actually prevents (or should we say “obliterates”) the kind of seeing needed to realize both financial well-being and one’s enlightenment.

Can you now realize that one of the connections between financial wealth and spiritual wealth is determined by the way in which one sees his/her own situation? In truth, the reason you may not see yourself as wealthy is very similar to the reason you may not see yourself as enlightened. I am being somewhat simplistic here for a specific reason – that it may cause you to quit analyzing, making excuses, and/or explaining away your seeming inability to realize your enlightenment.

Indeed, there is no need to justify any of those “reasons” you may not have seen through the illusions your mind holds sacrosanct. Who is there to convince that your situation is more difficult to cut through than that of others? Who is waiting to hear why/how the obscurations of your mind are less manageable than those of other people? Who (or What) is hanging over some precipice awaiting your disavowals of your own potentiality? The only person you are really trying to convince is yourself and frankly, that takes a lot of time, energy and effort that might be better spent on loving life and everything that passes through its magnificent flow.

You are the Mystery! How is it you have not thus far seen yourself in your true nature? Do you really prefer those old patterns that cause you to suffer? How is it you continue to see yourself afflicted with impoverishment and lack? What does the ego get out of so seeing? How is it you hold yourself back from experiencing everything it is possible to become in your skin? Is it really easier, more logical or pleasanter to identify more with your limiting beliefs than in your abundant vastness?

There was never a better time for each of you to look deeply into the matter of how the world you see before you is but a reflection of your own mind. Does the world appear chaotic and out of control to you? If so, it is time to create change (dare we say “transformation?”) in your mind. Is the planet running out of fresh air, pure water and clean, fertile soil? If so, it is time to transform the garden of your mind. To whom do you pay more attention: the “haves” or the “have-nots?” Indeed, which of these two assumed conditions (“haves” or the “have-nots”) demonstrates the way your mind sees “reality?” In fact, do these conditions you have designated even exist within the Oneness?

Indeed, the real question is: “Who or What sees these conditions through your eyes?” If you see a world of lack, limitation and impoverishment, does that mean that the Source of your Being (Who/Which is continually looking through your eyes) sees in such a way? Is it possible for the Author of Creation to see lack? If so, how? If not, how is it that you are able perceive lack and deprivation in your life or in the world around you (or the perception of such a world around you)?

Do you tire of these questions, dear ones? If you can bear it continue bombarding your mind with questions it cannot answer. If not, simply let the mind go quiet and try to experience that which you call your “self” as an extension of pure Consciousness. Know that the only assignment It was ever given is that of experiencing “itself” as Awareness. Learn to be aware that Awareness is observing all of life through the eyes you think belong to your “self.” However, if you can release the fixation on this “self,” you can become quite aware of Awareness staring out through your eyes, seeing magic and wonder dancing everywhere before you, delighting in the magnificent play of Consciousness that compels you to become more than your “self” could ever dream possible.

From this “parapersonal” perspective, the notions of lack and/or limitation you may have previously accepted as “real” simply cannot exist. Indeed, there are only possibilities – possibilities for connection, for relationship, for opportunities to behold the countless divine manifestations that are continually arising, dancing and evolving for you pleasure. Can you, no: will you allow yourself to be immersed in the wonder and magic of Creation?

Please join me this month in listening to The Wealth Plan. As you listen, challenge yourself to recreate the internal images you hold of yourself. Look beyond the bakchaks of your conditioning (or your choosing) and dare to stand in the perfection of the Light that brought you forth and claims you as Its own. How long will you continue to resist your noble heritage? You have come from a royal lineage of great beings who know nothing of lack or want. Rise up in your true glory and acknowledge your abundance at all levels.

I love you – yes each and every one of you – in the grand richness of cosmic wisdom and compassion. May you learn to love each other as completely as I love each of you. May you step (individually and collectively) beyond the prison of impoverishment, and may you celebrate the wealth of your profound Beingness. May you know the utter richness of Emptiness!
